Curse The Radiator Fan!!!- 08/04/2021

Ran into my first jam tonight

  • Removed the intake and airbox. The intake has two pipes leading to it. I believe the airbox had one electrical connector that plugs into the bottom
  • Removed the overflow tank
  • Removed the high pressure power steering to coolant loop (between radiator and condenser) connections and drained the fluid
  • Removed radiator top molding and shroud via two plastic clips on each side and a direct pull vertically.
  • Removed radiator hoses
  • Removed radiator top support, passenger side bumper, and then the entire radiator.
  • Removed front radiator fan
  • Removed AC and main serpentine belt. Belt tensioners were left unlocked
  • Attempted removal of radiator fan unsuccessfully. Ended up removing plastic fan from clutch and also started alternate removal method by unbolting the pulley from the waterpump. I am planning on backtracking a bit and retrying the standard method of removal after application of PB blaster
  • Soaked exhaust nuts and fan clutch with PB blaster
