While it may seem sudden from how I've written this build for my website, the sale of my car was actually something I slowly eased into. Over the 6 years it took to build this car I got older, got married, had a kid, and and had a second on the way. I felt like I had zero time, an ever shrinking budget, and my car needs had changed significantly as I grew out of my 20s and moved into my mid-30s. I felt like I’d accomplished everything I set out to do with this car, learned a lot, and had a blast doing it, but in the end my priorities had changed and it was time to move on.
The sale was actually generated a small private bidding war when I mentioned my intent to sell earlier in the year on norotors as it was a popular build at the time. I got a little more than I asked for and delivered it to the Birmingham, AL airport to meet its new owner.
Soon after, the buyer let me know that he was making some personal changes and asked if the other party originally involved in bidding for the car was interested in buying the car from him. After communicating with the other party, I happily connected the two and the car changed hands. I kept up with the new owner and still follow his continuation of the build here.
Not being the kind of person to leave anyone on a sad note, here is my final gallery from the would-be sale ad :)
