Finally finished scraping out the stock soundproofing and masking for the lizard skin.
Unfortunately I think I may have blown something on my 30 gallon Kobalt compressor :(
When I was cleaning my gear and after my compressor had pumped itself back up to 150psi I noticed a loud hiss coming from the regulator / controller area of the compressor. Upon further investigation I found a pinhole in the controller area that was the root of the cause. It was getting dark and the compressor was still very pressurized so I couldn't do much except clean my shop and get ready to leave. It only took about 15 minutes for the pinhole to bleed 30 gallons though. That sunk my idea that it was just a safety valve because the burst valve I'm familiar with is spring loaded and shuts after a while. This one bled until the tank was empty :(
Oh well... I'll see what I can do about it tomorrow if I can get out of jury duty...
