Build of Materials - 06/19/2016

As you can see, I started collecting (and changing out) parts for this build nearly 7 years before it really started coming together. Actually, my plans for this type of setup pre-date my orders by a couple more years and was something I was thinking about as I was tossing around the idea of selling my rx7 and replacing it with a more family friendly car. Incidentally, my original plans were to put this in my E55. Obviously that didn't happen and it took until 2022 before this plan came into fruition and finally settled into my 540i:
