Timing Breakdown - 09/28/2021

Things are a little nerve-racking tonight. The old timing chains come completely off which serve as the link to synchronize all 4 cams with the crankshaft. Since the crankshaft is loose (a condition of mounting the engine to a stand), it will be important not to let it rotate and move away from TDC until it can be locked again. Thankfully, it's a pretty happy spot for the crankshaft to be so I didn't have any trouble with it trying to spring away from this setting.
