Available from 2013 - 2016. HalfSpec Engineering offered tailor made air conditioning kits for 93-95 RX7s with GM LS based V8 swaps. When the product was discontinued, all the build information was released publicly and the project continued in an open source format.
Available from 2013 - 2016. HalfSpec Engineering offered customized AC interfaces for 93-95 RX7s with LS1 V8 swaps. This product translated electrical signals between Mazda and GM systems allowing the car's AC system to be controlled by the GM PCM and actuated by the Mazda AC controls. When the product was discontinued, all the build information was released publicly and the project continued in an open source format.
Similar to the LS1 kit above, this was also offered from 2013 - 2016. Designed for 93-95 RX7s with LSX V8 swaps, this product was developed to be an intelligent standalone AC controller that interfaces with the RX7's factory HVAC control panel. When the product was discontinued, all the build information was released publicly and the project continued in an open source format.
Available in 2013. HalfSpec Engineering offered a powerful radiator fan interface designed to communicate with the GM PCM for intelligent fan control based on coolant temps and AC status. After being discontinued, this product never made it to a fully public open source status, but this was only due to lack of interest.
